Energy is quite the hot topic in Israeli capital market circles these days. A subsidiary of Eurocom, Enlight Energy Co., yesterday announced that it is merging with the stock market shell company Sahar Invest. The merged entity will become the first renewable energy company listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, Eurocom said. Eurocom will own 43.9% of the shares in the company, which will be called Sahar Investments. Enlight's other founders will own 15%, and could get 5% more if certain benchmarks are met.
